Fun and engaging online piano lessons!
Hi, I’m Brooke, and at Black Cat Beats Music School, our focus is fostering a love of music in kids through kind, understanding instruction - all while having fun of course! Our virtual lessons allow students to have me in their living room every week, no matter where they live. With my use of multiple camera angles, apps, games, and modern programs, you can be assured that lessons are never boring.
I’ve been playing the piano for 25 years, and teaching piano lessons for over 13 years. I have a classical background, and I infuse that with creative new approaches that make learning to play the piano fun and exciting. I am also currently pursuing a teaching certification through Teach Music Online.
Students learn how to play the piano with correct technique and fingering, how to read music, musical theory, beginning composition skills, how to train their musical ear, and performance skills. We also have a monthly group class where students can socialize and work on different skills together! Parents receive monthly progress reports, so they are always in the know about where their child is excelling and what they will be working on next.
